Winnie-Rose's story

Winnie-Rose was born in a country called Armenia. When she was born, she had a missing thigh bone. This made it hard for her parents to take care of her because she needed a special surgery that wasn't available there.

We met Winnie-Rose when she was 13 months old,  and lived in Armenia with her and Luca for 5 months before bringing her home with us.

During the Covid lockdown, her first prosthetic leg was made from a skating shoe! How cool is that?

Winnie-Rose's first language was Armenian. It took her 3 weeks to learn English!

 Now, she loves to sing, tell jokes, and play soccer. She even had a big surgery to turn her little leg around, and now even ride a bike!
